DAY 01: Kathmandu to Colombo – Transfer to Kandy

Arrive in Sri Lanka, the enchanting city of the Orient. Upon landing at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transported to Kandy. On the way, stop at the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975 to care for abandoned and injured elephants. The sanctuary now houses over 65 elephants, including many babies from various regions and 23 born through its breeding program. Enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel in Kandy.

DAY 02: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, renowned for its extensive collection of tropical and temperate plants, including Asia’s largest orchid collection. Next, travel to Nuwara Eliya, known for its picturesque English-style architecture, well-maintained gardens, and cool climate. Visit a tea factory to see where some of the world’s finest tea is produced. Nuwara Eliya, situated at 6,200 feet above sea level, offers a peaceful retreat from city life. Overnight at Oakray Summer Breeze Hills in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 03: Nuwara Eliya to Kitulgala/Bentota

Following breakfast, head towards Bentota with a stop in Kitulgala. Upon arrival in Bentota, a city on Sri Lanka's southern coast, you’ll find diverse birdlife, including rare species such as the Indian Heron. Explore local attractions like the Turtle Hatchery and take a boat trip on the river. Check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Bentota.

DAY 04: Bentota Water Sports Package and Colombo return

After breakfast, travel to Colombo and check into your hotel. If time allows in the evening, enjoy a city tour of Colombo. The capital is rapidly evolving, with new skyscrapers rising where old buildings once stood, though some areas still retain their historic charm. Highlights include a century-old clock tower and several British colonial buildings. Visit the Pettah Bazaar for bargains, explore a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, and see the residential neighborhoods with their elegant homes. Other notable sites are the Colombo Museum, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) gifted by China, the new Parliament, and the Dutch Museum. Overnight in Colombo.

DAY 05: Leisure Day in Colombo

After breakfast, enjoy a free day in Colombo. Spend your time shopping or take part in optional tours according to your interests.

DAY 06: Departure

Following breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
