After a day of sightseeing and finalizing gear, you'll fly to Lukla and start your trek towards Phakding. Continue your adventure as you pass through vibrant Namche Bazaar, scenic Phortse, and picturesque Dingboche, with key acclimatization days to ensure your comfort at high altitudes. Experience the awe-inspiring Everest Base Camp and the panoramic views from Kala Patthar. Conclude your journey with a return trek to Lukla and a final flight back to Kathmandu, where you'll enjoy one last night before your departure.

Availability

Everest Base Camp (EBC), a magnificent hiking destination renowned for its breathtaking Himalayan vistas and cultural richness, is situated at 5,364 meters (17,598 feet) on the southern face of Mount Everest in Nepal. Starting in Lukla, the journey to EBC proceeds through scenic Sherpa villages, verdant forests, and steep terrain, providing breath-taking vistas of Everest and nearby peaks such as Lhotse and Nuptse. Trekkers are greeted with a great sense of success and an immersion in Sherpa culture while facing a variety of difficult conditions, including as high altitude and unpredictable weather. Basic lodging, usually in the form of tents, is offered at EBC, but the trip offers a singular and remarkable experience through one of the most breathtaking scenery environments on earth.

Day1: Go to Kathmandu. A Moon Himalaya Adventure representative will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and arrange for a hotel transportation. Have dinner with your guides in the evening to talk about the next journey and get to know one another.

Day 2: Planning for the Trek and Sightseeing in Kathmandu Following breakfast, your guide will go over the essential equipment and give you an overview of the Everest Base Camp Trek. You can buy or rent equipment if necessary. You can also pay your own admission fees to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, which include Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath, and Durbar Square.

Day 3: Take a plane to Lukla and walk to Phakding Fly to Lukla (2,850m) early in the morning from Kathmandu, then hike to Phakding (2,600m). The three to four-hour climb passes through Ghat and Chheplung. Phakding provides lovely scenery and conveniences.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar.Trek for six to seven hours from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m). The Dudhkoshi River is followed by the trail as it passes Monjo and Larja Dobhan. Admire the peaks in the vicinity and traverse multiple suspension bridges.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar acclimatization Hike to Everest View Point (3,380 meters), which has sweeping views of Everest, Lhotse, and other peaks, to spend the day acclimating. The process of acclimatization aids in avoiding altitude sickness.

Day 6: Hike to the Phortse Journey through thick woods of rhododendron from Namche to Phortse (3,810m), traversing both ascents and descents with breathtaking views of the mountains.

Day 7: Journey to Dingboche Trek to Dingboche (4,410m) from Phortse, going through Pangboche and Shomare. Savor the prayer flags and Mani stones located throughout the path. Dingboche is a quaint Sherpa community nestled in breathtaking scenery.

Day 8: Becoming used to Dingboche Take a hike up Nagarjun Hill to get breathtaking views of Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and the Imja Khola Valley. It's essential to acclimate on this day to enable your body to cope with the increased altitude.

Day 9: Trek to Lobuche Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m), passing Dusa and Thokla. The trail includes memorial chortens for climbers who perished on Everest.

Day 10: Return to Gorak Shep after trekking to Everest Base Camp Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) in the early morning, then spend the night at Gorak Shep (5,140m). Savor the vistas of the icefall and Khumbu Glacier.

Day 11: Journey to Pheriche and Kala Patthar Trek to Kala Patthar to see the sunrise and expansive Himalayan vistas. Trek to Pheriche (3,930m) after breakfast in Gorak Shep, passing through picturesque rivers and valleys.

Day 12: Trek to Tengboche Trek from Pheriche to Tengboche (3,860m), a 3-4 hour walk. Visit the Tengboche Monastery, a significant religious site, and attend evening rituals performed by the monks.

Day 13: Trek to Monjo Descend from Tengboche to Monjo (2,835m) via Namche Bazaar, enjoying the sunrise and the scenic return journey.

Day 14: Trek to Lukla Trek back to Lukla (2,840m) in 6-7 hours. Celebrate your trek's completion with a party in Lukla.

Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu for the night.

Day 16: Final Departure Based on your flight schedule, your guide will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for your departure.
